I have been teaching for nearly 18 years, working in a 5 different settings across Hillingdon, Kent and Hertfordshire, across both primary and secondary phases. During this time I have completed and facilitated various CPD programmes and kept up to date with national and local needs and trends. This included mentoring NQTs, supporting phase leaders and leading various departments.
I have completed a Master of Arts Degree in Education, looking at a range of pedagogical practices, with the main focus being around behaviour. I initially completed the Leadership Pathways programme, and then went on to coach a number of colleagues through successful initiatives which have raised standards in schools. Through good working relationships I lead, mentor and coach my colleagues in local schools to raise standards in their teaching and subject leadership and behaviour management.
I have worked with a number of Primary and Secondary staff and whole schools in leading CPD in collaboration with their governors to ensure a consistent approach to behaviour and relationships is achieved. This also includes engaging disaffected learners to improve their outcomes and attendance.
